چکیده
The performance and computational complexity of five multi-access receivers are compared A methodology is then presented for making area andpower estimates of these-algorithms for both SOfWare Programmable Dsp and dedicated direct mapped architectures. With this merhodofogy and by using eqerimental data from previous designs, the feasibirity of implementatwn of the multi-access receivers can be determined multiple portable terminals. One of the challenges in design of the algorithms for such alink is to provide enough diversity against multipath fading. For the indoor channel, the delay spreads are usually on the order of 10100 ns. In order to support a data rate ranging from 1-10 mits/sec per user and of time, frequency and/or spatial diversity is required. We will consider two basic approaches. The frrst is based on wideband direct-sequence CDMA, and exploits frequency diversity to resolve the multipath components at the receiver and uses multiuser detection to suppress the interference from signals intended for other users. The other approach we will investigate is to employ a narrowband solution by splitting the channel bandwidth into subbands with bandwidths small compared to the channel coherence bandwidth. The flat fading due to the destructive addition of the various paths in each of the narrow band can be combated through the use of spatial diversity using multiple antennas at the transmitter and at the receiver, which can additionally be used to increase the capacity. of users, a

Multi-channel Medium Access Control Protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks: A Survey
Extensive researches on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have been performed and many techniques have been developed for the data link (MAC) layer. Most of them assume single-channel MAC protocols. In the usual dense deployment of the sensor networks, single-channel MAC protocols may be deficient because of radio collisions and limited bandwidth. Hence, using multiple channels can significantly ...

Wireless network-on-chip (WiNoC) is considered as a novel approach for designing future multi-core systems. In WiNoCs, wireless routers (WRs) utilize high-bandwidth wireless links to reduce the transmission delay between the long distance nodes. When the network traffic loads increase, a large number of packets will be sent into the wired and wireless links and can...

With the continued demand for electronic systems and subsystems with more functionality, higher performance, smaller size and lower cost, system-in-package (SiP) modules have been growing rapidly in recent years as an alternative solution to system-on-chip (SoC). As a packaging technology platform, SiP allows a high degree of flexibility in the package architecture, particularly for radio frequ...
متن کاملInterference-Aware and Cluster Based Multicast Routing in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks
Multicast routing is one of the most important services in Multi Radio Multi Channel (MRMC) Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). Multicast routing performance in WMNs could be improved by choosing the best routes and the routes that have minimum interference to reach multicast receivers. In this paper we want to address the multicast routing problem for a given channel assignment in WMNs. The channels...
